PFA Relaunch classroom

On Tuesday the 17th of November the study centre held the relaunch of the PFA education hub. The Professional Footballers’ Association and the Union Learning fund have shown continual support to education that Pompey in the community has to offer.

The day consisted of networking between various organisations that attended the day, this demonstrated how the PFA have enhanced education. An example of this was the futsal programme which is a level 3 BTEC as they were using the classroom facilities during the presentation.

Gareth Evans a Portsmouth football player showed his support alongside representatives from Jobsite, Barclays bank, The PFA, Irwin Mitchell and others whom have attended Educational programmes run by Pompey in the Community. The successful day consisted of talks by members of The PFA, Riz Rehman and Pompey in the communities CEO Clare Martin. After a tour of the extended offices which has been possible due to crowd funding, the successful day ended with a tasty Buffet!
