Jobsite in collaboration with Pompey in the Community are delighted to announce the launch of the ‘All For Work’ campaign aimed at providing a range of people with the opportunity to potentially increase their chances of becoming more employable.
The campaign will deliver a range of workshop sessions throughout the season that focus on a number of key areas, including: CVs and interviews, cover letters and the application process, communication skills and personal development.
The sessions which are open to everybody and free to attend will cater for all needs, regardless whether people are in work currently, looking for a career change or potentially trying to take their first steps into employment.
Adam Lea Commercial and Marketing Manager at Pompey in the Community said: ‘The ‘All for Work’ campaign has been created by utilising the expertise of both organisations to ensure that the people of Portsmouth benefit from the knowledge that is available to them in a productive and non threatening manner. Sometimes as individuals we are reluctant to ask for help or are even unsure of how to obtain it. Through the ‘All For Work’ campaign hopefully those barriers won’t seem so big.
Fiona Rigby, Head of Marketing at Jobsite added: ‘Connecting people with the best job opportunities for them is the core of our business, and the first step towards that is helping candidates put their best foot forward. We’re delighted to be able to share our expertise from 20 years in recruitment with the local community and we hope the sessions will give participants the confidence to pursue the career they want.‘
The first session will take place on the 26th October from 10-2pm at the Pompey in the Community offices situated on Anson Road. If you are interested in attending or would like more information, please contact 023 9272 8899 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
